price guide cancels previous lists. Rather
than publish a detailed price list, instruments available immediately or at short
notice are posted on the 'for sale'
page. A

such as interchangeable stocks, tuning beads etc. £20 - £35 each. Interchangeable
stocks are included in the combination A / D sets. Postal
charges vary, and it is best to check these when ordering. Pipe
Hire Certain
sets, made at various times for personal use, may be available for hire. Typical
terms for pipe hire are £150 for a (minimum) six months period + £12
insurance charge. Note
that pipe hire is restricted to Scottish smallpipes and Border pipes and does
not extend to the hire of Northumbrian pipes. Pipe
hire offers the opportunity to try SSP or BP for little initial outlay. For reasons
of a practical nature pipe hire is for the UK mainland only. All

A £100
deposit confirms an order. Balance is due when pipes are completed. Please
make all money orders, cheques etc. payable IN STERLING. Despatch if required
(it is better to collect) is £19.95 (First Class Registered Post) in UK. Allow
£50.00 for shipping to USA. Pipes
are supplied with all necessary reeds. Spare chanter reeds available (£25.00-smallpipes,
£20-border pipes). Where
bellows are included, the type may be pinned, stapled or stitched, as available.
All work is guaranteed 2 years from collection and free maintenance is offered
if pipes are bought locally, or if the owner is prepared to undertake transport
costs. Defects detected on arrival must be reported
within 7 days to qualify for repair or replacement free of charge. After
6 months, the instrument is regarded as "used" and cannot be repaired
or exchanged as a new instrument. This applies to all parts including reeds.
