Made c. 2003, G chanter in acid-stained boxwood (sempervirens), with new reed. Slightly rustic in appearance, but plays very well - nice tone, stable, good second octave range (to C) and in tune. Virtually chromatic with good D#. Continental fingering. Unusually for boxwood it has remained straight for several years. Cannot guarantee that it will remain so in non-UK climates. Rare opportunity to acquire French boxwood chanter.
